I think the best writers are great editors. I’m naturally detail-oriented (and a stickler for grammar), but I’m always trying to see how the small, moving parts fit into the bigger picture. I want to shape the trees and the forest.
I have an English + Creative Writing degree from DePaul University in Chicago, and since 2018 I’ve been fully immersed in Creative as a writer, editor, and content strategist. Currently writing for digital channels and optimizing UX/UI user flows for Citi.
Some other things I do are read a lot, sing lead in a band, take too many pictures of my cat, and travel as much as possible. Staunch advocate of the Oxford comma.
