Plume

Plume wants to make spotty, unreliable WiFi a thing of the past. How? With their smart, adaptive WiFi platform that learns—or adapts to—your patterns and usage to give you the best performance possible.

Founded in 2015, Plume is the world’s first SaaS experience platform for individual homes, small businesses, and Internet service providers and their subscribers.

Blogs

As an innovator in the tech industry, Plume offers resources for their subscribers on the latest tech news, smart home innovations, and how better WiFi can improve everyday life and business.

I curated topics for Wavelengths—Plume’s D2C blog for consumers and small business owners—edited for brand voice and style, directed design, and conducted final proofread.

Social Media

I helped Plume launch their D2C social media channels in 2022, the @myplume Instagram page being one of my favorite projects, earning hundreds of followers its first day live. This was where we got to loosen up our tech language and be colorful and conversational.

I wrote and edited copy and helped concept ideas for weekly posts, stories, polls, and videos.

As well as Instagram, I edited posts weekly for Plume’s LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter consumer channels, ensuring word count and copy specs were in line with each channel’s requirements.

PlumeStrong

The PlumeStrong initiative began as a way to stay active during Covid and turned into an annual fundraising bike ride. The 2022 PlumeStrong Cycling Challenge—a 5-day, 403-mile bike ride through Switzerland, joined by two-time Tour de France winner Tadej Pogačar—raised funds for safe access to education for refugee children in Ukraine and Moldova.

I was the copy lead for the 2022 Challenge, collaborating with the events team, PR, design, and stakeholders to write copy for the official web page, emails, social posts, internal comms, and more.

Plumecast

How did Plumians keep up-to-date with the company internally? With Plumecast—Plume’s first internal newsletter, which I named, created, regularly edited, and wrangled stakeholders for.

Every month, I rounded up company news, events, awards, and new marketing content to send in a newsletter to employees to keep them up-to-date on all things Plume.
